This position is a dedicated Onsite LMR Technical System Manager position working directly at our customers location in Seattle, WA.
Candidates must be based within 1 hour from Seattle, WA.
Applicant MUST be willing to travel by air up to 10% of the time and be a self motivator.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include everyday maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and customer training on Motorola Land Mobile Radio Products.
This equipment is state of the art Astro 25 trunking.
Verbalize and communicate concepts and recommendations to the customers and within the Motorola organization.
Provide a detailed understanding of Motorola systems permitting the individual to assist in the design, troubleshooting and maintenance of Motorola's product lines.
Deliver a thorough understanding of Motorola RSS/CPS software and how toprogram subscribers and infrastructure equipment.
Candidate Expectations
Experience working with Infrastructure Technologies to include Motorola Astro 25 cores, MCC console line and 3rd party networking equipment
Must be able to obtain CompTIA Security Plus
Strong networking skills required
Understanding of IA systems and group policies in a network administrative position.
Applicant must be proficient with Microsoft Office products and Motorola Radio Service Software products.
Must have a excellent communications skills and always present a professional image.
Candidate Requirements
Required to complete Standard Form 89 Questionnaire for National Security Positions.
- Must be willing and capable of meeting the requirements to obtain a DHS Public Trust Clearance. Employment is contingent upon passing a DHS Public Trust Clearance.
- The candidate must be able to obtain a passport
- Must be a U.S. citizen with ability to obtain necessary security clearance as required by government contract(s)
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.

Target Base Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000 USD
Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
Basic Requirements- Bachelor Degree and 5 years OR Associate Degree wand 7 years OR High School Diploma/GED and 9 years of experience in one of the following: LMR, RF Systems, Radio Frequency, Radio Communications, Wired/Wireless Communication Systems, Networking Equipment, IT or Military
- Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain necessary security clearance as required by government contract.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
