Position Overview
We're seeking a creative Marketing Media Specialist to capture and share the story of our shop through video content. This is a hands-on role where you'll work directly in our shop environment, filming service work, creating engaging social media content, and building our digital presence.
Primary Responsibilities
- Film and shoot video content in our active automotive repair shop
- Edit video footage into polished, engaging content for social media platforms
- Post and manage content across YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and other social channels
- Create consistent content that showcases our expertise, builds trust with customers, and attracts new business
- Collaborate with shop staff to capture compelling repair processes and customer stories
- Develop content strategy that aligns with our brand and business goals
What We're Looking For
Required:
- Experience with video production and editing
- Proficiency with video editing software (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar)
- Understanding of social media platforms and content best practices
- Ability to work independently and manage your own production schedule
- Comfortable working in an active automotive shop environment
- Reliable transportation to our Vacaville location
Preferred:
- Portfolio or examples of previous video work
- Experience with YouTube content creation
- Knowledge of SEO and social media analytics
- Interest in automotive content (experience not required)
- Understanding of storytelling through video
