We're hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you'll:
- Purchase goods and services on the basis of “best value.”
- Ensure that purchasing practices comply with the Michigan Gaming Control and Revenue Act and the Michigan Gaming Control Board.
- Process requisitions and purchase orders for MotorCity departments.
- Review purchase order claims and contracts for adherence to company policy.
- Assist the Director and Manager of Purchasing in negotiating contracts and formulating vendor policies.
- Source potential vendors to meet business needs.
- Manages the vendor bidding process.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.

- Minimum two years previous purchasing experience in a medium to large company, or a Bachelor's Degree in Business or related area preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Computer skills a must, including knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Organized with the ability to multi-task.
Salary : $47,400 - $60,000
