JobJob Summary - Motorcars has a Vintage Jaguar Division- we build show cars.
We are looking for an Automotive Restoration Employee who has either extensive experience in auto restoration , or wants to learn in a relaxed environment to perform restoration and repair work on classic, vintage, and specialty vehicles. Primarily Jaguar brand and especially the Jaguar E-type.. We do not do body work and we do not perform rust repair . We assemble show cars from mostly new parts and create concours winning cars as well as super drivers.
Duties
- Assemble cars , and perform service and maintenance work to Vintage Jaguars
- Install and fit automotive components, suspension and mechanical updates.
- Perform restoration, assembly, in a controlled and clean environment
- Use hand tools, power tools, and automotive repair equipment safely and effectively.
- Assist with repair estimates and communicate project status as needed.
- Follow shop safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
Requirements- the ability to be honest, to learn, and work in organized fashion.
- Previous experience in automotive restoration,
- Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of vehicle components and systems.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and automotive repair equipment.
- Ability to lift and move heavy parts and materials safely.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Experience with classic or vintage vehicle restoration preferred.
- Auto glass installation experience is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time, Paid Position
Pay: $27.54 - $49.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
