Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Used Car Manager to lead our pre-owned vehicle operations. In this dynamic role, you will oversee all aspects of used vehicle sales, inventory management, and customer relations. Your leadership will drive sales growth, enhance the customer experience, and ensure the dealership maintains its reputation for quality and service.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the used car sales team to achieve sales targets through effective coaching and motivation.
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail to properly manage the preowned inventory on a daily basis to ensure the inventory is being turned at a competitive pace and minimizing any aging vehicles
- Properly appraise potential trade-in vehicles as well as vehicles in service. This would be done by having the necessary skills to identify what a vehicle may need, and having an exit strategy for each vehicle that is acquired
- Familiarity with CRM software, inventory control systems, and retail math principles
- Utilize CRM software to track sales activities, follow up on leads, and manage customer data efficiently
- Proven experience in automobile sales, dealership management, or retail sales with a focus on used vehicles
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals confidently in order to capture each potential sale
