Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

• Lead and oversee all billing operations, including managing a Senior Billing Associate.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and proper revenue recognition (ASC606) across diverse contracts with different billing and term schedules.
• Drive month-end close processes, preparing accurate entries for income statements and balance sheets.
• Manage the conversion of billing systems from Dynamics to Oracle, ensuring smooth transitions and reconciliations.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to support accurate financial reporting and operational needs.
  
  

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For Must-Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 3 years of hands-on accounting experience.
• Deep expertise in deferred revenue, accruals, and the interrelationships between revenue, accounts receivable, and deferred income, with a strong command of credits and debits.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, Access, and Salesforce.
• Strong GAAP knowledge.
  
  

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with MS Dynamics and/or Oracle.
• Proven success across multiple financial roles.
• Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
• Background in the automotive sector (a plus, not a must).
