• One-off parts, short runs, and custom assemblies where accuracy matters
• Prototypes that evolve from print or sketch into finished components

• Translate prints, sketches, and CAD into fabrication plans
• Lay out, cut, fit, tack, and weld to tight tolerances
• Perform MIG and TIG on steel, stainless, and aluminum with strong technique
• Interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and GD&T to ensure fit and function
• Collaborate with engineering and machining to improve manufacturability
• Self-inspect and finish parts to a high standard
• Support fixture setup and early-stage prototype development
• Keep a safe, orderly, and clean workspace

• 3 years of proven MIG and TIG welding experience
• Prototype/custom fabrication background; job shop pace preferred
• Blueprint and weld symbol literacy
• Hands-on with steel, stainless, and aluminum
• Detail-first mindset and pride in workmanship
• Independent problem-solver who owns outcomes
• Dependable, punctual, and professional

• Fixture building or prototype tooling
• Race car fabrication exposure
• Comfort working adjacent to CNC machining
• Automotive, motorsports, or industrial fabrication experience
