Shipping Clerk

Motobilt Inc., located in Ozark, Alabama is looking for a full time energetic Shipping Clerk to their dynamic team.

Motobilt, Inc. is a leading source for aftermarket Jeep and Truck Accessories. Motobilt has quickly become known for high quality products and services in the off-road community. We offer products from many of your favorite name brands, including bumpers, LED light bars, LED Light Bar Mounts, brackets, and tabs.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ability to read and understand packing lists, bills of ladings, and shipping and receiving instructions
• Ability to orders, packing orders, and making boxes, with a high degree of accuracy
• Strong attention to detail
• Familiar with appropriate methods of shipment and proper packaging requirements
• Operates the stretch wrap banders
• Responsible for keeping an adequate supply of shipping material on hand at all times.
• Verifies information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, etc.
• Reports defective material or questionable conditions to the department supervisor
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment
• Responsible for maintaining equipment and following all safety regulations as required
• Must be able to lift 75 lbs, repeatedly
• Must be able to stand for an 8 hour shift
• Must be able to Read a tape measure, use a pry bar, be trained on, and operate forklift, use hammer, wrenches, and all common hand tools

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven strong work history and reliable attendance
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Proficient in reading and interpreting a tape measure
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in shipping and receiving
• Willingness and ability to work in varying environmental conditions (hot and cold)

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent education.

Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
