Senior Accountant – Full-Time

Compensation: $97,750–$120,700

Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to drive financial accuracy, strengthen internal controls, and support critical month-end and year-end reporting. What You’ll Do
- Prepare financial reports and analyze trends, variances, and key performance data
- Manage journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and account reconciliations
- Lead month-end and year-end close activities
- Oversee AP/AR processes and resolve escalated issues
- Review vendor invoices, expense reports, and payment transactions
- Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding items
- Support internal and external audits
- Maintain documentation for financial transactions and compliance
- Implement and monitor internal controls aligned with GAAP and company policies
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred or in progress)
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong background in month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas)
- Proficiency with modern accounting systems (QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Odoo, etc.)
- Knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and compliance requirements
- Excellent accuracy, analytical skills, and problem-solving ability
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion
