Power Systems Engineer – Electric & Hybrid Propulsion

Are you an engineer who loves hands-on work with high-voltage systems and wants to shape the future of sustainable commercial vessels? Join our Commercial Systems team and lead the design, testing, and integration of next-generation electric and hybrid propulsion systems.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead high-voltage system design and integration, including protection & control.
- Get hands-on wiring, testing, and troubleshooting hardware.
- Build and maintain bench test systems for production parity.
- Support sea trials and collaborate with suppliers, shipyards, and vessel operators.
You Bring:
- Strong electrical engineering fundamentals and power electronics experience.
- Experience with high-voltage energy storage and industrial communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Modbus).
- Proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink, oscilloscopes, and practical hardware troubleshooting.
- Self-driven, ownership-minded, and comfortable working at sea to collect test data.
Bonus Skills: Commercial vessel experience, familiarity with ABS/USCG/IEC standards, functional safety, EMI/EMC, and firmware or PCB design tools.
