Job summary: We're seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to design and optimize battery systems for cutting-edge energy platforms. The ideal candidate has deep experience in lithium-ion battery pack architecture, power electronics, and system integration gained at leading EV or battery technology companies.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead electrical design of high-performance battery packs and modules
- Develop schematics, PCB layouts, and wiring harnesses for HV and LV systems
- Perform simulations, design validation, and failure analysis for reliability and safety
- Collaborate with mechanical, software, and test teams on system integration
- Support prototype builds, system-level testing, and troubleshooting
- Maintain documentation for UL, SAE, and military compliance
Required qualifications:
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 5 - 7 years of experience in EV, battery, or energy storage design (Tesla, Rivian, Lucid, or similar strongly preferred)
- Expertise in BMS architecture, CAN communication, and HV safety
- Skilled in Altium, OrCAD, or comparable PCB design tools
- Hands-on experience with battery testing and validation
