Development Engineer – Powertrain
A leading motorsports and high-performance engineering organization is seeking a Development Engineer to help develop, test, and validate advanced powertrain technologies.
This is a hands-on opportunity for an engineer who enjoys turning concepts into real-world performance, from development and testing through validation and production.
What You'll Do:
- Develop and execute powertrain development and test plans.
- Design and coordinate component and system testing.
- Analyze test data and translate results into engineering recommendations.
- Create test procedures, validation plans, and technical reports.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to solve technical issues and optimize performance.
- Support continuous improvement of testing and development processes.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 5 years of powertrain development and testing experience.
- Background in internal combustion engines, electrified powertrains, or related technologies.
- Knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and mechanical systems.
- Experience with data acquisition, instrumentation, test execution, and data analysis.
Preferred:
- Powertrain or chassis dynamometer testing.
- Data logging hardware/software.
- Automotive, motorsports, or high-performance engineering experience.
