What are the responsibilities and job description for the Railroad Track Laborer position at Motive Rail, Inc?
Working as a team to accomplish daily maintenance inside a plant, with occasional travel within an hour for duties at another location. Regular schedule of Monday-Thursday 10 hours a day with occasional OT over the weekends or longer days, must be flexible as occasionally over night work is required. $22 an hour starting, after 90 days $1 raise to max pay and health insurance, vision and dental as well as life and short term disability insurance provided at no cost to you.
- Assist with the repair and maintenance of railroad tracks and related infrastructure.
- Operate heavy equipment such as backhoes, skidsteers and track maintenance machines.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy materials, bending, digging, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong teamwork skills with excellent communication abilities.
