What are the responsibilities and job description for the Overhead Door / Dock Leveler Technician position at Motive Power Industries?
Duties will include but are not limited to:
Overhead Doors:
- Repairing / Replacing Springs
-Repairing / Replacing Panels
- Installing New Doors
- Service Door Repair
- Speed Door Repair
- Repairing / Replacing Track and Hinges
- Preventative Maintenance
Dock Levelers:
- Repair / Replace parts
-Welding
-Installation of new leveler
- Manual / Hydraulic / Air Powered / Edge of Dock Levelers
Requirements:
**** 5 Years of Experience****
- Previous experience in a similar technician role preferred.
- Proficiency in welding
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively and safely.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may involve heavy lifting or prolonged periods of standing or bending.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Strong communication skills to interact with team members and clients effectively.
