General Description: The Compliance Coordinator (CC) will provide compliance and safety support to the General Manager and Director of Compliance and Safety for items related to Safety, regulatory compliance, including documentation, reporting, and training.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Notifying team members of report due dates and collaborating with the Compliance Team to ensure all reports are received promptly.
- Conducting business related research, analysis, and reporting
- Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of client, staff, and agency information; Interact with clients, vendors, and visitors.
- Assisting the Director of Compliance and Safety and Operations Manager in ensuring that all statutory reporting is completed accurately and timely.
- Lead Safety committee and conduct monthly meetings.
- File and retrieve Compliance documents, records, and reports.
- Complete monthly Safety and Food Grade audits
- Conduct Safety Orientations for New Hires
- Conduct daily safety walks in the facility to ensure compliance with safety standards and OSHA regulations.
- Recommend measures to help protect workers from potential hazards
- Support in conducting incident investigations.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Physical Demands:
- The Compliance Coordinator must lift at least 0 pounds to a maximum of 25 pounds and perform repetitive standing, sitting, stooping, walking, stretching, reaching, and using full range of body motions.
Language Skills:
- The Compliance Administrative Assistant must be fluent in English (written and verbal) to perform the essential functions and responsibilities of the position successfully. Spanish is a plus.
Skills/Abilities:
- High proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Detail orientated.
- Ability to interact with employees at all levels.

- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
Knowledge:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must have three years to five years of experience in a safety role (warehousing / logistics preferred).
- Warehouse industry safety and compliance knowledge a strong plus
