Position Overview: Loading Support Services (LSS) provides 24-hour support to Motiva Distribution terminals, Outside Supply Points, Marketing & Sales, and the Distribution business. The LSS Business Lead is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the Loading Support Desk. The LSS Business Lead directly interfaces with various internal groups to ensure proper data maintenance of customer accounts at equity and outside supply point (OSP) terminals across the Motiva geography. This includes updating and maintaining the TABS and providing analytical assistance to LSS Analysts with regards to driver loading issues The LSS Business Lead provides first level (on call) support (24 x 7, 365 days a year) for all Motiva Distribution terminals and Outside Supply Point terminals. This includes monitoring various systems (such as TMS and TABS) and communications of data coming in and out to our Motiva distribution terminals. This position also provides analytic reports to various internal stakeholders. Responsibilities: Provides first level support (24 x 7, 365 days a year) for all Motiva Distribution terminals and Outside Supply Point terminals. Tasks the monitoring of various systems, such as TMS and TABS to LSS Analysts. Oversees communication of data coming in and going out to our Motiva distribution terminals, and understands the importance of timely transmission of data. Supports various internal customers by providing in depth analysis of terminal activity, forecast functionality and customer trends. Provides solutions to issues or problems reported by LSS Analysts to determine the appropriate level of response or involvement needed from other support groups. Prioritizes customer inquiries and responds to them according to the business urgency. This requires troubleshooting activities utilizing software, hardware and in depth systems knowledge. Provides advice, counsel, and guidance to users for all aspects of terminal operations. This includes areas of business processes and system related questions. Understands and supports the following business areas: Marking and Sales, Fuels Reliability, Sales Support, Credit and Distribution.
