Trailer Lot Attendant

Job Summary:

The Lot Technician is responsible for the organization and presentation of the trailer lot. Maintains the appearance of the lot, unloads, receives freight. Assembles trailers and assists with service and maintenance duties as directed.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assemble Trailers
• Park and move trailers.
• Wash and prepare trailers for delivery.
• Cleans and lubricates equipment, maintains a shop/service bay area free from debris and dirt, and readies or puts away tools as assigned.
• Maintain lot including but not limited to displaying/organizing trailers, mowing and weed removal, snow removal, picking up trash, installing exterior signs, banners, or flags.
• Receive and stock trailers, parts, and supplies.
• Unload trailers with forklift.
• Support Service Technicians as needed.
• Reports any issues to supervisor or higher-level employee.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to listen, understand, and follow directions.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Ability to work in a variety of roles.
• Valid Driver’s License

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Previous experience preferred.
• Job training for this position is provided by department trainer.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
• Lifting, standing, bending, or reaching, is required.
• Must be able to lift up to seventy (70) pounds at times.
