Join one of the nation's top performing labor broker companies as an IT Support Technician in a contract-to-hire role located in Grand Prairie, TX. This organization strives in installing services for retailers and manufacturing companies, with a mission to provide expertise in installation services that include improvements in products such as doors, windows, siding, and kitchen appliances. You'll support a growing IT team, handling Tier 1 and Tier 2 tickets and issues while using appropriate ticketing systems to resolve service incidents. This onsite position requires 4 to 5 days per week in the office with an hourly rate ranging from $15 to $20 per hour. The ideal candidate will have a background in Windows, Mac, Active Directory, computer hardware, and Microsoft technologies with strong customer service skills.

Required Skills & Experience

  • High School Degree or equivalent preferred
  • Customer service experience in call center environment
  • Help desk or technical support experience preferred
  • Knowledge and experience troubleshooting Office 365 applications
  • Ability to install and troubleshoot software
  • Ability to configure and support internet browsers
  • Mobile application support experience
  • Microsoft Office Products knowledge
  • Understanding of Windows and Mac operating systems
  • Basic Active Directory knowledge
  • Computer hardware troubleshooting skills
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to work onsite 4 to 5 days per week in Grand Prairie, TX

What You Will Be Doing

Tech Breakdown

  • 40% Tier 1 Support (password resets, account unlocks, basic troubleshooting)
  • 30% Tier 2 Support (software installations, application issues, hardware troubleshooting)
  • 20% Office 365 Support (email, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive issues)
  • 10% Documentation and Ticketing (logging issues, updating tickets, knowledge base)

Daily Responsibilities

  • 60% Ticket Resolution (responding to support requests, troubleshooting issues)
  • 25% User Support (assisting end users via phone, email, remote tools)
  • 15% Administrative Tasks (documentation, ticket updates, team collaboration)
