Job Description
We are hiring a Lead Storage Engineer to join a high-performing Platform / Infrastructure team supporting enterprise-level file and object storage environments.
This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in storage engineering, infrastructure design, and datacenter migrations, who can lead complex initiatives and act as a Subject Matter
Expert (SME).
🔹 Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support large-scale storage and infrastructure initiatives
- Act as SME for file & object storage platforms (NetApp, StorageGRID, Oracle ZFS)
- Support datacenter migration and modernization efforts
- Analyze and resolve complex technical and escalated support issues
- Collaborate with engineering teams on design, enhancements, and automation
- Drive improvements in system performance, reliability, and scalability
- Work in an Agile/Scrum environment with cross-functional teams
🔹 Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with NetApp ONTAP
- Experience with StorageGRID and/or Oracle ZFS
- Scripting experience using PowerShell
- 5 years of experience in Systems Engineering / Infrastructure / Storage
- Experience with enterprise storage environments and operations
🔹 Preferred Skills
- Experience with ServiceNow
- Knowledge of Power BI
- Familiarity with Agile / Jira
- Scripting or automation using Python
