Sr. Product Owner

Outstanding long-term contract opportunity! A well-known Financial Services Company is looking for a Sr. Product Owner in Dallas, TX(Hybrid).

Contract Duration: 12 Months with strong likelihood of extension or conversion to full time

Core Job Requirements/Experience Level

• 7 Product Owner experience in an enterprise level technical environment
• Background in product development, product management, or Agile scrum environments

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Technical Proficiency

• Comfortable working with complex technical systems
• Experience working with API documentation
• Jira
• Confluence
• SharePoint

Preferred Qualifications

• Industry/domain experience in Banking/Financial Service, FinTech
• Experience supporting developer tools
• SCRUM Cert (even fundamental) and or PMBok (PMP, SDLC, etc.)

What you will be doing:

• Product Owner for PI / planning
• Act as an advocate for the customer or end user
• Stakeholder Collaboration - Work closely with Application Managers, Engineers / Developers, Program Managers
• Documentation Strategy - Own and define the end to end documentation strategy for assigned product areas

Create and maintain:

• User guides / process documentation (“Job Aides”)
• FAQs
• Gather requirements and validate technical accuracy
• Convert complex technical concepts into clear, concise, user friendly documentation in Confluence and process documents (“Job Aids”) for application management teams
• Manage multiple documentation requests simultaneously
• Apply user focused principles to tailor documentation to audience (application managers, developers) needs
• Identify opportunities for content reuse
• Ensure consistency across documentation suites
