Senior Systems Engineer/Windows/Linux/VMware

We’re partnering with a leading technology services company based in Philadelphia, PA, that specializes in delivering enterprise infrastructure and cloud solutions to mid-size and Fortune 500 clients. This is a full-time opportunity supporting both Windows and Linux environments, where you’ll work hands-on with technologies like Windows Server 2019/2022, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), VMware, and automation tools.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5 years of experience as a Systems Engineer or similar role
• Strong proficiency with Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 administration
• Strong experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) or CentOS
• Experience managing Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
• Proficiency with PowerShell and/or Bash scripting
• Experience with VMware or other virtualization platforms
• Familiarity with system monitoring and performance tuning tools
  
  

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Familiarity with Ansible, Puppet, or Chef for configuration management
• Knowledge of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, VLANs)
• Understanding of security hardening and patch management
• Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
