Job Description

A robotics startup North of Boston is hiring a Research Software Engineer for their team. As a Research Software Engineer, you’ll be serving as the bridge between cutting-edge research and production software.

The company specializes in automating tire changing and wheel balancing through AI-powered robotics, helping modernize a process that has remained largely unchanged for decades. You’ll be supporting the software architecture and system design for the product, helping to drive research initiatives forward.

Required Skills & Experience

• Skilled in software architecture and system design expertise
• Skilled in API design
• Skilled in software engineering, testing, documentation, version control, and AI-assisted development tools
• Experience in research, scientific, or R&D research environments
  
  

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience working in the robotics industry
• 4 years of development experience
• Degree in a relevant field
