Senior Program Manager (Hybrid – Washington, DC Metro Area)

Join a mission-driven technology program supporting the Department of Homeland Security in the Washington, DC Metro Area. This full-time, hybrid role focuses on leading a high-impact IT modernization initiative, driving transformation across mission-critical systems. You’ll work at the intersection of federal leadership and cutting-edge delivery teams, leveraging Agile methodologies, DevSecOps practices, and modern cloud-based technologies to support national security operations.

This is a high-visibility leadership opportunity where your work directly impacts critical government systems. The standout aspect of this role is enterprise-level influence—you’ll oversee large-scale Agile teams (50 personnel), guide modernization strategy, and serve as the key liaison to federal stakeholders. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader who thrives in complex environments and wants to drive meaningful change in public sector technology.

Required Skills & Experience

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
• 10 years of IT program or project management experience
• Experience managing large, complex technology programs with multiple Agile teams
• 2 years supporting Federal government programs
• Experience leading DevSecOps or Agile delivery programs with 50 personnel
• Experience supporting system modernization and O&M environments
• 3 years of business process analysis and change management experience
• Strong communication skills with experience briefing senior government leaders
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Figma, or similar platforms
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• OR PMP / PgMP certification in lieu of degree

• Agile certifications (CSM, SAFe, Lean Agile)
• Experience supporting DHS or other federal civilian agencies
• Experience leading large-scale IT modernization or digital transformation programs
