Senior Embedded Engineer / Linux / Onsite / NJ

A growing company local to the Greater Philadelphia area is hiring a Senior Engineer with experience programming applications on hardware. Local candidates only; relocation is not available.

In this role, you’ll work on developing new features and product lines while collaborating closely with both software and hardware teams. The ideal candidate has strong experience building software for devices and has worked in C , Python, etc., as well as Linux.

Required Skills & Experience

• Senior level experience developing software for devices
• Strong experience with embedded Linux
• Experience working with hardware teams and reading schematics
• Strong communication skills
• BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  
  

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Experience with microservices
• Familiarity with embedded protocols, especially wireless
• MS or PhD degree
