Our client, a major school furnishings and equipment distributor in the NY & NJ areas, is actively looking for a driven, energetic Project Coordinator to join their operations team in Bay Shore, NY! This role is onsite so local candidate are required.
***This is a full-time permanent position with a base salary and full benefits package***
This position requires strong computer skills, excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to manage multiple projects at one time!
Responsibilities
- Project coordination/management with customers, project managers, and installers
- Able to multi-task and manage unexpected escalations daily, outside of your planned daily responsibilities
- Project/order set-up with milestone tracking for timely and on budget job completion
- Prepare work orders for the installation team and confirm scope and delivery dates
- Review and process factory acknowledgments and installer invoices to accounting
- Coordinate the factory submittal process and field check through production release
- Monitor Job sites
- Schedule, coordinate and track all product deliveries with the manufacturer and dedicated freight carries.
- Prepare weekly reports to include job progress and backlog
- Attend project meetings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree is preferred
- 1-3 years of experience working in a similar role/industry
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to organize priorities based on deadlines
- Excellent time management skills
- Knowledge of Salesforce CRM is plus
- The ability to read architectural drawings is a plus
Salary : $70,000 - $72,000
