Oracle Database Administrator

I’m currently supporting one of our federal clients, in their search for an experienced Oracle DBA with strong cloud experience to join their team full-time.

This role is well-suited for someone who enjoys working hands-on with Oracle 12c/19c environments, cloud platforms (OCI/AWS/Azure), and high-availability solutions. You’ll support and optimize mission-critical database environments while collaborating closely with development and infrastructure teams.

Compensation: $150k–$160k full benefits

Clearance: Active TS/SCI (U.S. Citizens only). Ability to obtain DHS EOD SCI required.

Location: On-site in Springfield, VA

Tech Environment: Oracle, OCI/AWS/Azure, RMAN, Data Guard, RAC, SQL/PLSQL, Shell/Python, OEM, Terraform/Ansible

• 8 years as an Oracle DBA with strong Oracle 12c/19c administration, performance tuning (AWR/ASH/OEM), and core tools (RMAN, Data Guard, RAC, ASM).
• Cloud experience with OCI (preferred) and AWS/Azure; proven database migration to cloud platforms.
• Proficient in SQL, PL/SQL, shell scripting, and automation tools like Terraform/Ansible; familiarity with GoldenGate.
• Bachelor’s in CS/IT (Oracle certifications such as OCP/OCA/OCI Architect are a plus).
• Strong communication, documentation, problem-solving skills; effective working independently or in teams.
  
  

We’re seeking senior-level Oracle DBAs with strong experience in performance tuning, backup/recovery, cloud migrations, HA/DR solutions, and automation.
