NETWORK ARCHITECT
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Network Architect to design, implement, and optimize enterprise-level network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in large-scale LAN/WAN environments, datacenter and security design, and network optimization. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and cost-effective solutions that align with business objectives.
This is an on-site role in Lawrenceville, GA, and requires a successful background check clearance.

This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and cost-effective solutions that align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, plan, and maintain large-scale LAN/WAN, WLAN, and VPN network infrastructures.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define architecture objectives.
- Create detailed network architecture diagrams, documentation, and specifications.
- Evaluate and recommend network hardware, software, and protocols.
- Lead implementation and configuration of routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Design and implement security measures including access controls, encryption, and intrusion prevention/detection.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize network performance and reliability.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, best practices, and industry trends.
- Provide leadership and technical guidance across IT teams.
- 10 years of experience supporting networks in enterprise environments.
- 4 years of experience designing LAN/WAN infrastructures.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Proven experience as a Network Architect in enterprise environments.
- Deep knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs, VPNs).
- Experience with leading vendors (Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto Networks, Arista).
- Strong understanding of security best practices (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS).
- Proficiency with monitoring/management tools (Wireshark, SolarWinds, Nagios, etc.).
- Relevant certifications (CCNP, JNCIP, CISSP, etc.) strongly preferred.
