Exciting Lead DevSecOps Engineer opportunity with a financial institution that serves as a strategic banking partner for member institutions across the Midwest, supporting mortgage lending and community investment. Their mission centers on providing competitively priced funding and fostering community reinvestment from urban centers to rural areas.

Join a high-performing team where you'll play a key role in transforming the software development lifecycle through DevOps excellence. Partner closely with development, infrastructure, security, and architecture teams to drive automation, enhance deployment efficiency, and shape the future of the engineering platform while mentoring other engineers. This is an opportunity to own the SDLC, SAST practices, and Cloud environment.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 7 years of demonstrable software engineering and DevOps experience
  • Expert-level experience with CI/CD pipeline design, implementation, and management
  • Strong cloud engineering experience with Azure
  • Expertise with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible)
  • Experience with Docker/Kubernetes containerization
  • Expertise integrating SAST tools like Checkmarx into pipelines
  • Experience with code quality scanning tools (SonarQube)

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Experience with Azure DevOps administration and implementation
  • Background working in Agile environments (7 years)
  • Expertise with Application Performance Monitoring tools (Datadog)
  • Experience with automated testing solutions across unit, integration, and system testing
  • Proficiency in Python and C

  • 30% Infrastructure Automation & Cloud Provisioning
  • 30% Security Integration & Collaboration

Daily Responsibilities

  • 60% Hands On (coding, scripting, pipeline development)
  • 40% Team Collaboration (mentoring, architecture discussions, cross-team partnership)
