IT Project Management / PMO Development / Direct Hire / Hybrid / New Orleans, LA
Our client is a well-established higher education institution based out of New Orleans, Louisiana, looking to hire an IT Project Management Leader on a full-time, direct-hire basis.
This is an opportunity to help build a Project Management Office (PMO) from the ground up and shape how technology projects are planned, prioritized, tracked, and delivered across the organization. Rather than stepping into an established structure, you’ll have the opportunity to develop project management frameworks, introduce consistent processes and reporting, educate stakeholders, and drive meaningful improvements in project delivery. This role is ideal for a seasoned IT Project Manager who has played a significant role in PMO development or implementation and is ready to take the next step in leadership. You’ll work across Agile and Waterfall environments, collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, and have the opportunity to grow into leading a team of project managers as the PMO matures. The position is hybrid, with a more consistent in-office presence initially to build relationships and establish the function.
