Outstanding contract opportunity! A well-known Financial Services Company is looking for an Infrastructure Software Engineer - Network in Irving, TX, Columbus, OH or Charlotte, NC (hybrid 3 days on-site).

Required Skills & Experience
- 5 years experience
- Prior work in banking or financial services
- Strong mix of network/load balancing software engineering
- One-hour interview format; screening guide and workforce request tracker in place.
- Looking for someone who:
- Understands infrastructure deeply
- Can build automation around network systems
- Has at least 24 months of load-balancing experience
- Technical Skills
- Network Load Balancing:
- Strong hands-on experience with load-balancing technologies such as F5, AVI, or hardware-based solutions.
- API Development:
- Proficiency in Python with experience in FastAPI and Django.
- Automation:
- Advanced experience with Ansible.
- Infrastructure Automation:
- Ability to build automation and API layers within a network context.
- Bonus Skills:
- Exposure to Kubernetes or Red Hat OpenShift is a plus.
- Build and support the API layer used for provisioning all load-balancing requests across the enterprise.
- Work within a team focused on load balancer automation, including abstraction layers and guardrails for application teams.
- Partner with engineering teams that have transitioned from network engineering into software engineering.
- Help alleviate a major bottleneck: load balancer automation is critical to the organization’s ability to deploy services.
