One of the largest ecological transformation companies is looking for a Full Stack Developer to join their Beaumont, TX team!
Our client is seeking a Full Stack Developer to support a mixed, legacy technology environment consisting primarily of VB, .NET, and SQL-based applications. This role is focused on maintaining and stabilizing existing systems, implementing small enhancements and fixes, and ensuring day-to-day operational continuity.
Contract Duration: 6-Month Contract with the opportunity for extension
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience as a Full Stack Developer supporting legacy applications
- Visual Basic (VB / VB6 or similar legacy VB technologies)
- .NET (older versions acceptable; latest frameworks not required)
- SQL (writing queries, troubleshooting data issues)
- Experience working in dated or mixed-technology environments
What You Will Be Doing
Daily Responsibilities
- Support and maintain existing VB, .NET, and SQL-based applications in a production environment
- Perform minor enhancements, bug fixes, and operational tweaks to existing systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve application, data, and performance issues
- Work with legacy codebases and understand business logic built over time
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand issues and implement practical solutions
- Ensure system stability, reliability, and continuity of operations
