Director of Managed Services

Job Description

A well-established technology firm that focuses on Microsoft cloud solutions is looking for a Director of Managed Services to lead a growing IT services team! This role offers the chance to drive service delivery, manage a skilled team, and shape operational strategy in a fast-paced environment.

The company serves mid-sized to enterprise clients across various industries, emphasizing long-term partnerships and compliance standards. The company is offering a flexible remote schedule, ideally aligned with Eastern or Central time zones, with travel around once a quarter!

Required Skills & Experience

• 5 years leading managed services teams
• Microsoft Azure and Office 365 expertise
• Experience with other Microsoft solutions such as SharePoint, CoPilot, and Viva Learning
• Solid understanding of ITIL/ITSM frameworks and financial management
• Proven ability to grow services and manage budgets
• Strong leadership and communication skills
  
  

Desired Skills & Experience

• Relevant Microsoft certifications (Azure Administrator, Solutions Architect etc.)
• Experience with SOC2, HIPAA compliance, and vendor management
• Sales support experience and servant leadership approach
  
  

What You Will Be Doing

• Drive strategy and oversee service delivery for managed services
• Build client relationships and manage escalations
• Lead and develop technical teams
• Manage budgets and improve service quality
• Collaborate with sales and ensure compliance with security standards
• Maintain vendor relationships and track performance metrics
