Required Skills & Experience
- 8 years hands-on experience configuring electro-mechanical systems in real-world environments
- Strong skills in electrical wiring, mechanical assembly, and root cause troubleshooting
- Experience with CAD tools such as Onshape or SolidWorks for design and documentation
- Competence working in a Linux environment, including command-line utilities
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
- Demonstrated initiative, resourcefulness, and positive mindset
- Hands-on experience with automotive tire changing and wheel balancing
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline or equivalent technical experience
- Experience in manufacturing, automation, or hardware startup environments
- Veteran or prior service experience, especially with mechanical or vehicle systems
- Experience creating test scripts, documenting procedures, and training others
- Familiarity with motion systems, sensors, and robotic subsystems

- Own and maintain vehicle configuration library across multiple vehicle types
- Validate and improve system configuration performance and scalability
- Define and advocate for new software and tooling features
- Document and lead troubleshooting procedures across robotic subsystems
- Design and fabricate custom tools, fixtures, and hardware
- Assist with mechanical prototyping including 3D printing, welding, and machining
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software teams to resolve system issues
- Lead end-to-end robotic system assembly including ECOs and design improvements
- Assemble and wire control panels, sensors, and motion systems
- Support system commissioning and deployment at customer sites
- Conduct field diagnostics and data collection to drive improvements
- Identify spare parts, consumables, and failure modes
- Support pilot tests, demos, and deployments
- Train and mentor technicians on procedures and safety standards
