Staff Product Designer / B2B GTM / NYC

Job Description
A fast-growing B2B technology company is building an agentic go-to-market platform designed to help revenue teams create and execute customer-facing work with the support of AI. The platform gives sellers and marketers AI teammates that understand accounts, apply brand and product intelligence, and continuously improve based on feedback. As the company continues redefining how AI can support revenue workflows, they're looking for a founding Staff Product Designer to help establish the product language, interaction patterns, creative standards, and design systems for a new generation of AI-native software.

As a Staff Product Designer, you'll own the core product experience across the surfaces where GTM teams ask for work, shape it, review it, edit it, publish it, and learn from it. You'll design the connective tissue between AI agents, generated assets, data, and users while tackling complex questions around how people direct AI, collaborate with intelligent systems, and maintain confidence and control over generated work. This is a highly strategic and hands-on role that spans product strategy, interaction design, visual design, prototyping, and the detailed execution required to create exceptional product experiences.

The design challenges are fundamentally different from traditional SaaS. You'll help determine how editing should work when the object being edited is an intelligent system that can regenerate, revise, explain, and learn. You'll explore how to make AI-generated work feel highly intentional and on-brand, how to turn design taste into a system that improves over time, and how to create experiences that are simple enough for everyday use while powerful enough to support sophisticated revenue workflows.

This is an early-stage design leadership opportunity where you'll work directly with founders and engineering to shape product strategy, influence the roadmap, prototype ideas before they're fully formed, and help define how product, design, and engineering collaborate in an AI-native environment. The company works together in person in New York City, with rapid feedback loops between design, engineering, founders, customers, and the product itself.
Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience shipping real-world digital products used by customers
• Staff-level product design experience with the ability to operate strategically and execute at a high level
• Exceptional visual and interaction design skills with a highly developed sense of product quality
• Ability to evaluate AI-generated work critically and articulate what makes an experience feel generic, polished, effective, or off-brand
• Experience designing complex product experiences and workflows from initial concept through launch
• Strong systems thinking combined with exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to move fluidly between product strategy, interaction models, visual design, typography, and detailed UI states
• Experience working in ambiguous, fast-moving environments where requirements and solutions are not fully defined
• Strong communication skills and the ability to challenge and influence founders, engineers, and product leaders
• Ability to shape problems and product direction rather than simply execute predefined requirements

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience designing AI-native products or AI-powered workflows
• Hands-on experience using modern AI tools as part of the design and product development process
• Experience developing new interaction patterns that move beyond traditional SaaS conventions
• Experience with B2B SaaS, GTM, sales, marketing, or revenue technology
• Experience working at an early-stage startup or as an early design hire
• Experience establishing design systems, product language, or creative standards for a growing product
• Strong prototyping skills and the ability to quickly explore and communicate new concepts
• Experience designing products where generated content or intelligent systems are central to the user experience

What You Will Be Doing Daily Responsibilities

• Own the core product experience across AI-powered GTM workflows
• Design the surfaces where users request, shape, review, edit, publish, and learn from AI-generated work
• Define interaction models for working with AI agents without requiring users to manage or micromanage the agent
• Establish creative standards and product language for AI-native GTM software
• Design experiences that balance AI automation with user confidence, control, and transparency
• Explore new approaches to editing intelligent systems that can regenerate, revise, explain, and learn
• Design the connective tissue between AI agents, generated assets, customer data, and users
• Prototype new product concepts rapidly before requirements and solutions are fully formed
• Partner closely with founders and engineering to shape product strategy and influence the roadmap
• Develop systems that allow product quality and design taste to improve over time
• Contribute to how design, product, and engineering collaborate within an AI-native organization
• Maintain a high level of quality across both strategic product decisions and detailed interaction and visual design

The Offer
You will receive the following benefits:

• Base Salary: $180,000-$230,000

• Full-time, onsite position in New York City, 5 days per week
