What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior to Staff Application Security Engineer / Y Combinator Startup position at Motion Recruitment Partners, LLC?
A GPU Cloud company startup is looking to bring on a hands on a Senior to Staff Application Security Engineer to build out their application security program from the ground up. You'll work on their core platform, finding vulnerabilities in APIs, web apps, and internal services before attackers do. You'll run and build SAST/DAST pipelines, manage bug bounty program, and sit on new feature designs early to ensure security is built in, not added on. Ideal candidates have previous experience in startup industries, and ideally have worked at a Y Combinator backed startup. You'll work in a GPU computing environment so experience with systems level security and/or Linux kernel security is a huge plus.

- Deep software development background
- Experience with SCA, DAST, SAST, and code reviews
- Strong communication skills
- Previous experience building out app sec programs from the ground up
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis now and in the future.
Salary : $160,000 - $225,000
