Senior Cloud DevOps Infrastructure Engineer / Onsite in Midtown Manhattan

This New York City-based organization is building an agentic AI platform transforming financial services. As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will design and manage scalable, secure infrastructure powering advanced generative AI products.

This is a full-time, primarily onsite role (4 days/week in Manhattan, with remote Fridays) offering the opportunity to work alongside a high-caliber team from leading financial institutions and top-tier engineering organizations.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4 years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or related roles
• Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services (ECS, EC2, Lambda, S3, CloudFront, CloudWatch, RDS, IAM, SSM)
• Strong experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, gRPC)
• Expertise building and managing CI/CD pipelines (AWS CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI/CD)
• Experience designing infrastructure-as-code using tools like AWS CDK or CloudFormation
• Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance, and best practices (especially in regulated industries)
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with engineering teams and align infrastructure with product goals
• Proven problem-solving skills with a focus on scalability, efficiency, and cost optimization

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience with hybrid cloud deployments or multi-cloud environments
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform and/or Azure
• Experience working in financial services or other regulated industries
• Knowledge of microservices architecture patterns and distributed systems
• Exposure to observability tools and logging frameworks (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar)
• Experience supporting multi-tenant environments and customer-specific deployments
