Senior Analyst - Boston, MA

Job Description A leading organization within the insurance and healthcare risk management industry is seeking a Senior Analyst to deliver data-driven insights that support strategic business initiatives and operational performance across multiple departments.
This role will work closely with stakeholders to identify trends, develop reporting solutions, and provide actionable recommendations that drive informed decision-making. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and technical capabilities with the ability to communicate complex findings to both technical and business audiences.
This is a hybrid position requiring three days onsite per week in the Boston area. Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree required
• Insurance industry experience required
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in analytics, informatics, statistics, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of relational databases and reporting platforms
• Proficiency with Power BI, Tableau, Excel, SQL, or comparable analytics tools
• Experience extracting, transforming, analyzing, and reporting large datasets
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality and accuracy
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
• Ability to translate complex quantitative analysis into actionable business recommendations
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams

Desired Skills & Experience

• Healthcare industry experience
• Advanced degree in Analytics, Statistics, Informatics, or a related discipline
• Experience with advanced analytics or statistical modeling tools
• Familiarity with Alteryx, SAS, or similar data preparation platforms
• Experience supporting data governance initiatives
• Exposure to predictive analytics or data science projects

What You Will Be Doing Daily Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and develop data-driven solutions
• Extract, transform, analyze, and visualize data from multiple systems and sources
• Design and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance metrics for business users
• Identify trends and opportunities that improve strategic and operational decision-making
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish reporting standards, KPIs, and analytics strategies
• Integrate and connect disparate data sources to improve business intelligence capabilities
• Coordinate data and reporting requirements between business and technology teams
• Support data governance, quality, and integrity initiatives
• Evaluate and recommend new data sources, reporting technologies, and analytical tools
• Investigate data quality issues and identify root causes and remediation strategies
• Prepare data and perform analysis in support of advanced analytics and modeling efforts
• Present analytical findings to technical and non-technical audiences
• Train end users on reporting tools, data definitions, and available data resources

Salary : $105,000 - $130,000
