Business Execution Consultant - (QA / Testing)
Location: St. Louis, MO or Charlotte, NC (Hybrid, 3 days onsite)
Duration: 6 months (extension likely)
Type: Contract (W2 only)
About the Role
We are seeking 5 contract resources to support application testing for a large-scale financial services platform. This role is embedded in agile development teams and focuses on ensuring high-quality software releases by performing manual testing and collaborating closely with engineers and product owners.

This is a hands-on testing role in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have both strong testing skills and financial services experience, particularly in advisory, wealth management, or brokerage systems.
Responsibilities

• Develop and execute manual test scripts and end-to-end test scenarios
• Document and track test results, defects, and retesting outcomes
• Collaborate with agile teams, including product owners and engineers, to define testing requirements
• Support the validation of new application features, enhancements, and workflows
• Participate in quality assurance activities throughout the development lifecycle
• Ensure attention to detail, accuracy, and completeness in all testing activities

Required Skills

• 2 years of experience in business execution, implementation, or QA/testing
• Hands-on experience with manual testing in agile environments
• Familiarity with Jira or similar issue tracking and project management tools
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel for test documentation and reporting
• Ability to work effectively as part of a cross-functional team

Preferred Skills

• Experience in financial services, investment management, or brokerage systems
• Knowledge of advisory platforms, managed accounts, or trading workflows
• Exposure to automated testing tools such as Selenium or Playwright
• Familiarity with Octane or other test management platforms
