You'll lead initiatives around CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and cloud architecture while mentoring a small team of DevOps engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of AWS infrastructure supporting production and development environments.
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery and improve release reliability.
- Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to ensure system health and uptime.
- Champion Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Collaborate closely with development, QA, and product teams to enhance scalability and performance.
- Ensure best practices for cloud security, cost optimization, and compliance.
- Mentor and guide junior DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement.
- 6 years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior role.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3, CloudFront, etc.).
- Proven experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar).
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK).
- Proficiency with scripting languages (Python, Bash, or Go).
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch).
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Experience in a SaaS environment or high-availability production systems.
- Exposure to data analytics, customer engagement, or loyalty platforms.
- AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or equivalent).
