A small cybersecurity firm is seeking an Information Systems Security Engineer to help build and secure Azure based infrastructure and applications. This is a hands on role focused on cloud security, networking, and automation across modern engineering environments.
Location: Hybrid Washington DC
Responsibilities
Secure Azure environments including VNets, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancing
Build infrastructure using Terraform
Implement security across Kubernetes and containerized workloads
Integrate security into CI CD pipelines
Conduct threat modeling and security assessments
Partner with engineering teams on secure architecture
Requirements
5 years in DevSecOps, Cloud Security, or Security Engineering
Strong Azure and cloud networking experience
Hands on Terraform experience
Experience with Kubernetes and Docker
Solid networking fundamentals such as TCP IP and firewalls
Familiarity with NIST or FedRAMP
Preferred
Zero Trust experience
Azure security tooling
CI/CD security integration
