Desktop Engineer / Hybrid / Chicago

An established engineering focused organization is searching for a Desktop .Net Engineer to join its digital technology group. This team develops software that connects industrial machines, fabrication systems, and complex 3D modeling environments. This is a fulltime hybrid role for developers who enjoy working hands-on with .NET technologies in a hardware adjacent setting.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience with C#, .NET Framework
• WinForms or WPF background
• Experience with CAD/CAM or 3D modeling software
• Familiarity with SQL and relational databases
• Understanding of software development best practices
• Ability to work with distributed teams

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience with manufacturing, automation, or IoT systems
• Knowledge of C , Python, or other programming languages
• Real?time, IPC, or PLC exposure
• Embedded systems familiarity
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 3-5 years professional development experience
