A startup technology company is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to join its team in a fully onsite role in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of professional software/ML engineering experience, with a background in building and deploying AI/LLM-powered applications and exposure to areas such as agentic AI, multi-agent systems, orchestration, fine-tuning, model evaluation, and autonomous decision-making. Experience with Python, PyTorch, and a modern ML stack is wanted, and prior work with multi-modal systems, air-gapped or classified environments, and building agents that operate in adversarial or contested environments is preferred. A U.S. security clearance is not required but is a bonus. Required Skills & Experience
