Hand Therapist 

Salary:  $84,000 - $107,000 / Year (commensurate with experience)

Sign-on bonuses available 

Job Location:  160 East 56th Street, NYC, NY (Midtown East; outpatient clinic)

Job Type: Full-time (Mon-Fri; 40 hours/week) - Schedule is flexible to a degree, with any adjustments needing to support team and clinic operations. Schedule will be discussed further during the interview.

Responsibilities

As a OT - Hand Therapist, You’ll Achieve Success By:

• Reviewing patient medical history and developing individualized treatment plans
• Diagnosing patients by observing movements and listening to concerns
• Using exercises, stretching, equipment, and manual therapy to manage pain and improve mobility
• Recording patient progress and modifying treatment plans as needed
  
  

Qualifications

Occupational Therapist - Hand Therapist Requirements:

• Licensed in NYS as an Occupational Therapist
• Excellent work ethic and dedication to patient success
• Basic computer skills
• CPR and first aid certification required
• Open to new grads, MUST have level 2 fieldwork experience in hand therapy
• Level 2 fieldwork experience in hand therapy, some continuing education courses, and 1 year of experience in outpatient orthopedics and hand therapy as a licensed OT preferred or CHT eligible (accumulated 4000 hours of hand therapy experience and 3 year of experience) waiting to sit for boards
• CHT certification a plus
• Must have familiarity with all HTCC-described conditions related to the Hand Therapy discipline and their corresponding anatomy.
