What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mobile Auto Detailer (Independent Contractor), Charlotte, NC position at Motion Mobile Detailing?
Motion Mobile Detailing is a mobile detailing company in Charlotte with 50 five-star Google reviews. We're bringing on independent detailers to handle jobs across Charlotte and surrounding areas.
How it works:
- We bring you booked jobs. You show up, do the detail, and send before/after photos.
- We handle all marketing, booking, customer communication, and payments. You just detail.
- You pick which jobs you take based on your availability.
Pay:
- You keep 65% of every job 100% of tips
- Average job is around $300 (mostly interiors, plus ceramic coatings and paint correction)
- Bonus for every customer review that mentions you
Services we book:
- Full and mini interiors
- Exterior washes, wash and wax
- Paint correction and ceramic coating
- Headlight restoration, engine cleaning, overspray removal
-(Also working on tint and PPF)
What you need:
- Your own detailing equipment and products
- Your own water and power setup (water tank generator) strongly preferred
- An extractor for interiors
- Reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license
- Experience detailing cars, with before/after photos you can show us
- Good communication. Text when you're on the way, show up on time
This is a 1099 independent contractor role. You'll sign a simple subcontractor agreement, including a non-solicit (no taking our customers on the side).
