Fully Remote PositionWe are seeking an experienced Employment Law Attorney to join our team. You will serve a broad range of clients—employees asserting their rights and employers seeking representation or compliance counseling. The ideal candidate thrives in a high-stakes litigation environment, is comfortable in and outside the courtroom, and is committed to excellent client service, strategic thinking, and ethical practice.Key ResponsibilitiesManage employment law matters from intake through resolution—including investigations, motion practice, trial preparation, and settlement negotiations.Advise and represent clients (employees and employers) in cases involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage & hour violations (including meal/rest breaks, unpaid overtime), wrongful termination, whistleblower claims, employment contracts & severance agreements, and PAGA class actions.Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests/responses, settlement agreements, employment policies, handbooks, and other employment-law documents.Conduct client conferences, witness interviews, depositions, mediation, arbitration, and trial proceedings as needed.Stay current on California and federal employment laws and evolving case law; provide expert guidance on employer compliance and risk mitigation.Collaborate closely with the firm’s leadership, contribute to growth of practice, business development, and mentorship of less experienced attorneys/paralegals as appropriate.Required QualificationsJuris Doctor (J.D.) degree.Admission to practice and in good standing with the State Bar of California.Minimum of 2-10 years of employment law litigation experience (plaintiff, defense, or mixed) in California.
