Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Field Service Technician for an on-site role based in Knoxville, TN. The Field Service Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing conveyor systems, and other motion conveyance equipment. Day-to-day duties include conducting inspections, troubleshooting equipment issues, performing preventative maintenance, and providing hands-on technical support to clients. This role requires regular travel to customer sites to ensure timely and effective service.
Qualifications
- Technical skills in installing, maintaining, and repairing conveyor systems, and other conveyance equipment.
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities to identify and resolve mechanical and technical issues effectively.
- Basic knowledge of industrial machinery and tools, including the ability to work safely with equipment and follow safety protocols.
- Strong customer service and communication skills to interact with clients and provide guidance on maintenance and solutions.
- Relevant certifications or technical training in mechanical, industrial, or similar disciplines is a plus.
- Physical ability to handle tasks such as lifting heavy equipment and working in various industrial environments.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to customer locations as required.
