Major Duties & Responsibilities
- Integrate our safety system with industrial robots, PLCs, and customer automation systems.
- Configure and troubleshoot communication between our software platform and industrial equipment.
- Support on-site system installations, commissioning, and customer deployments.
- Assist customers and robotics integrators with system setup, troubleshooting, and deployment support.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and industrial system documentation.
- Create and maintain wiring diagrams and integration documentation for customer installations.
- Configure industrial networking and communication protocols.
- Assist with robot interfacing, safety I/O, and machine integration.
- Troubleshoot issues involving robotics, networking, PLCs, sensors, software, and industrial communication systems.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to improve deployment procedures, diagnostics, tooling, and integration workflows.
- Provide technical feedback from field deployments to improve product reliability and usability.
- Help build documentation, training materials, and best practices for customers and integrators.
- Experience with industrial robotics, factory automation, or industrial control systems.
- Familiarity with PLCs and industrial communication systems.
- Familiarity with industrial networking and communication protocols such as EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, Modbus TCP, OPC UA, or similar.
- Experience interfacing software with hardware systems.
- Programming experience in Python, C#, C , or similar languages.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Experience troubleshooting technical systems involving both hardware and software.
- Familiarity with industrial safety systems is a plus.
- Experience with robot platforms such as ABB, FANUC, KUKA, Universal Robots, Yaskawa, or similar is a plus.
- Experience with Linux systems is a plus.
- Experience creating technical documentation or installation documentation is a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting and practical engineering skills.
- Comfortable working across software, hardware, and industrial systems.
- Strong technical curiosity and willingness to learn new systems quickly.
- Ability to communicate clearly with customers, integrators, and engineers.
- Comfortable working independently in customer environments.
- Ability to handle ambiguous technical problems and adapt quickly.
Minimum Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
- Approximately 1-5 years of relevant experience preferred.
