Position Summary
As a Housekeeper, you play one of the most important roles in the guest experience. You will be responsible for cleaning and preparing guest rooms, hallways, and assigned public areas to ensure every space is spotless, welcoming, and meets Motif's high standards.

Responsibilities
- Clean and service assigned guest rooms according to hotel standards
- Make beds, replace linens, and replenish towels and guest amenities
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens/kitchenettes, and all guest room surfaces
- Vacuum, dust, mop, and remove trash from guest rooms
- Inspect rooms to ensure quality and report maintenance issues promptly
- Restock housekeeping carts and maintain an organized work area
- Clean designated public areas as assigned
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and chemical handling procedures
- Properly handle lost and found items
- Respond professionally to guest requests when encountered
- Work efficiently to meet daily productivity goals while maintaining exceptional quality
- Support teammates and assist with additional housekeeping duties as needed
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping or hotel experience preferred, but not required—we're happy to train the right candidate
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Dependable with excellent attendance
- Positive attitude and commitment to guest service
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, and pull throughout an entire shift
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays
