Job Title: CAM Engineering Technologist – ETO
Location: Antioch, CA 94565
Pay Rate: $25/hr
Shift: 07:00 – 15:30 (with overtime and weekend hours as needed)
Description
Entry-level shop employee with basic assembly experience, basic blueprint reading, and the ability to work effectively as a team player.
Responsibilities
- Setup new production work areas, including layouts, tooling, and equipment setup.
- Assist with transition from production to packing.
- Manufacture, assemble, and test mechanical products according to written procedures, engineering models, drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement projects for area safety.
- Perform routine maintenance functions such as daily clean-up of work areas.
- Other duties as assigned or otherwise beneficial to achieving organizational success.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED.
- Ability to work effectively with a strong work ethic and close attention to detail in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment with rapidly changing roles and responsibilities.
- Ability to interpret specifications, written work instructions, and test procedures.
- Basic mathematics skills.
- Basic computer skills such as Windows and Microsoft Office.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to climb ladders or stairs and work in small restricted areas.
- Ability to perform repetitive work including lifting heavy items up to 44 lbs.
- Ability to work off-shift, extended hours, overtime, and weekends if necessary.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Desired
- Industry certification, trade school training, and/or degree in a related field.
- Experience working in a team-based Lean Manufacturing environment.
Pay: $25.00 per hour
