Job Title: Assembler – Manual Wire Bonding
Location: 14 DeAngelo Drive, Bedford, MA 01730 (Onsite)
Shift: 1st Shift
Pay Rate: $25/hour

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Assembler with experience in manual wire bonding to join our team in Bedford, MA. This role requires precision, strong hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work under a microscope in a cleanroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate manual wire bonding equipment (ball bonding, wedge bonding, ribbon bonding).
• Set up, calibrate, and adjust process parameters (force, temperature, ultrasonic energy, etc.).
• Perform precision bonding tasks and inspect work under a microscope to ensure quality standards.
• Troubleshoot bonding defects (wire breaks, non-sticking bonds, wire sweep, etc.).
• Conduct routine maintenance and minor troubleshooting on bonding equipment.
• Follow cleanroom and ESD safety protocols.
• Collaborate with engineers, QA technicians, and team members to maintain production flow.

Qualifications & Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent (vocational/technical training preferred).
• Prior experience with manual wire bonding in a manufacturing or cleanroom environment.
• Strong manual dexterity and fine motor skills for precision tasks.
• Familiarity with bonding materials (gold, copper, aluminum) and inspection tools.
• Excellent attention to detail, patience, and ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork.

Work Environment:

• Cleanroom manufacturing setting.
• Requires extended periods of sitting/standing and repetitive motion work.
• High focus on accuracy and quality.

Job Types: Full-time, Temp-to-hire

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Experience:

• Assembly: 1 year (Preferred)
• Manual Wire Bonding: 1 year (Preferred)
• Electrical wiring: 1 year (Preferred)
